4th International Date Palm Conference held at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi

Under the patronage of His Highness The President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahayan, the UAE University organized the Fourth International Date Palm Conference at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi from March 15-17, 2010. The Faculty of Food and Agriculture contributed greatly to this event by participating in the organizing and the scientific committee. Nearly 250 participants from more than 45 countries attended the conference. Date Palm scientists and experts from around the world exchanged their know-how and expertise.
