The 21th International Diabetes Congress

Dr. Habiba Ali , Assistant Professor in the Department of Nutrition & Health has participated in the 21^st  International Diabetes Congress organized by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) in Dubai from December 4-8, 2011. The title of Dr. Habiba’s presentation was “Nutrient Intakes and Nutrition Knowledge of "Multiethnic Women With and Without Gestational Diabetes Mellitus in the United Arab Emirates". 

Mr. Amjad Jarrar was a co-author of this paper. Conference webcast will be available at: http://www.idf.org/worlddiabetescongress/ . Focus of the conference was to share latest research on diabetes management and prevention. The congress was attended by more than 15,000 delegates from 172 countries.
