Plantation Week Exhibition in Liwa

College of Food and Agriculture participated in plantation week in Liwa in the Western region on March 8-10, 2011. The Faculty presented recent scientific articles and a prototype on water saving for date palm irrigation and salt tolerant plants. In addition the faculty presented publications in terms of books, brochures and posters which was related to the activity. Dr. Mohamed Salem delivered a lecture entitled “Desertification Problem and Threat of Climatic Change.”
