A Female Student of CFA Won the 1st Place in the “Young Entrepreneur Competition 2012 Dubai“

Mayassa Al Hamadi a student from the Department of Aridland Agriculture won the first place in “Young Entrepreneur Competition 2012”. This was held the period between 28 -31 March 2012. The results of the completion were posted on the 7th of April.

Mayyassa Al Hamadi with the project of “Emirates Garden 2030” won the first place in Young Entrepreneur Competition 2012 in its eighth cycle, which Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. 

The ‘Young Entrepreneur Competition 2012’ (YEC 2012) of Dubai SME (The Small and Medium Enterprise) which is under the agency of the Department of Economic has development mandated to promote the SME sector.

Since 2005 when the competition started, the number of projects that were received for the competition was 2,500 projects which were developed by 7,000 students.  In 2012 over 700 projects developed by students from secondary schools and universities across the UAE participated in the four-day exhibition held as part of the competition this year.
