CFA Students selected in the UAE National Team of the Counter Strike 1.6 to Participate at the Grand Final of the World Cyber Games – WCG in Korea

As extra curriculum activity the student Hamad Ahmed Al Mansouri, the student in Aridland Agriculture Department was selected in UAE national  team of the Counter Strike 1.6 to participate at the Grand Final of the World Cyber Games – WCG in Korea.

About the competition Hamad said:  

The World Cyber Games - WCG is the World’s Largest Computer and Video Game Tournament just like Olympics, which has been held in Busan, Korea from 8^th – 11^th December 2011. As a UAEU student I have been selected to represent the UAE national Team of the Counter Strike 1.6 to participate at the Grand Final of the World Cyber Games – WCG in Korea. Traveling as a UAEU student to represent the UAE national Team was one of the best things that I have ever experienced in my life. My presence there has really promoted UAE’s and UAEU’s talent on an international platform. I would like to thank the UAEU, UAE and Index Conferences & Exhibitions Organization for letting me have this opportunity to participate in such an international tournament.
