Dr. Houcine Boughanmi from Sultan Qaboos University Visited UAEU

Dr.Houcine Boughanmi, Head, Department of Natural Resource Economics, College of Agricultural and Marine Sciences, Sultan Qaboos University visited agribusiness department on November 19, 2013. The purpose of this visit was to attend a project meeting funded by NRF-UAEU. The project title is “Analyzing Strategies to Expand Organic Food Markets and Trade Opportunities among UAE and other GCC Countries.”  The main discussion during the meeting was to outline the project implantation plan including survey development, data collection in Oman, data analysis, and students’ involvements on the project. Currently, Dr. Boughanmi is involved as a collaborator on this project. Dr.Boughanmi also met with other agribusiness faculty to explore future collaborations.
