UAEU Students' Day - GLOBAL G.A.P

Private food safety standards and third-party certification are of growing importance in the agricultural sector. Producers are facing the challenge to comply with Good Agricultural Practices in order to supply their produce to retailers worldwide. At the UAEU Students' Day GLOBAL G.A.P. will give an overview about the third-party certification system. Experts will explain the meaning and implementation of Good Agricultural Practices for the scopes livestock, aquaculture as well as fruits and vegetables, illustrated by examples from practice. Moreover, participants of the GLOBAL G.A.P. Academic Poster Ward will present their research results and the jury will nominate the winners of that competition.
