FIT Student Association raises funds to support handicaped children

May 5 ,2010 - Touch of Hope campaign organized by CIT students provided moral and material support to seriously ill and handicapped children in the UAE.

The event was held on Wednesday evening May 5, 2010 and saw the participation of dignitaries from the UAE including the presence of HH Sultan Bin Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahayan and HH Ahmed Bin Nasser Bin Zayed Al Nahayan. Also in attendance was HE Mr. Humaid Al Shemmari, Executive Director of Mubadala Aerospace, HE Dr. Abdullah Al Khanbashi, Vice Chancellor of UAEU, Dr. Mohamed Yousef Hasan (Dean of Medicine and Health Sciences), many of our Faculty of Information Technology faculty and students, as well as representatives from industry and special education in the UAE. The event was reported in local media.
