H.H. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, Chancellor of UAE University chairs The University Council in CIT Building

January 18, 2011. FIT hosted an executive meeting of UAE University Council members this morning chaired by H.H. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research and Chancellor of UAE University. The Council granted the academic degrees for students graduated in Spring and Summer Semesters for the Academic Year 2009/2010. Some of the executive members attending the meeting were introduced to FIT educational and recreational facilities available for students pursuing their studies in Information Technology at UAE University. Mr. Bin Hamoodah, Chairman of Bin Hamoodah Group and Mr. Jumaa Al Majid, Chairman of Jumaa Al Majed Group were among the Council members who were presented to FIT educational environment to bring a future generation of Emirati professionals and entrepreneurs. Dr. Abdullah Al Khanbashi and Prof. Wyatt Rory Hume, respectively Vice Chancellor and Provost of UAE University also attended the UAE University Council meeting at FIT Building.
