FIT Organizes its annual Programming Competition
March 22. 2011: The annual Faculty of IT, Programming Competition (FPC), was held
on Monday March 21st, 2011 at the Faculty of IT. The contest provided an excellent
opportunity for students to show their problem solving and programming skills.
The contest also aims at preparing our students for similar national and international
competitions. Ten teams participated in this year's FIT Programming contest. Each
team was made up of a maximum of three students. The contest lasted for 4 hours. It
was very exciting, seeing the students competing against each other in this friendly
educational contest. The contestants were given 7 problems to solve. All teams solved
at least 2 problems. The winning team solved 4 out of the 7 problems. The second team
also solved 4 problem but with a longer time duration than the winning team. The third
team solved 3 problems.
