H.H. Sheikh Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education and UAEU Chancellor Congratulates FIT and UAEU for ABET accreditation

October 14, 2011: H.H. Sheikh Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education and UAEU Chancellor, invited FIT and UAEU members to his Palace in Abu Dhabi to recognize FIT's bachelor program accreditation. Dr Abdullah Al Khanbashi, UAEU Vice Chancellor and Provost Wyatt Rory Hume, also attended the event.

Sheikh Nahayan acknowledged FIT's members efforts led by Dean Eyad Abed towards this paramount recognition of FIT's academic standards. Several local and International distinguished personalities attended the event and shared their congratulations to UAEU delegation. Sheikh Nahayan mentioned this recognition adds to several other UAEU achievements In its pursuit to deliver high quality education and contributes to the good International reputation account of UAEU and FIT. He also recognized the continuous quality-work carried out by FIT academic and staff body to attain this level of achievement which translates into a label of high quality for all the Faculty of Information Technology students, staff and academics.
