Fekri Kharbash, holds the Interdisciplinary Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer
Engineering/Telecommunications and Computer Networking from University of Missouri
– Kansas City in 2011. Currently, he is an assistant professor of the Computer System
Design track in the college of Information Technology, UAE University.
His research interests are in the areas of computer arithmetic, computer architecture,
VLSI computing system design, embedded systems and their applications, high performance
computing, digital systems design, nanotechnology and computer networks. Among different
other awards, he is the recipient of the Region 5 service award, 2008 and certificate
of Appreciations from the UAE Embassy in UAE, 2011.
He is a member of Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE), Association
for Computing Machinery (ACM) and Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication
Engineers (IEICE).
