Emirates Center for Mobility Research (ECMR), known previously as The Roadway, Transportation and Traffic Safety Research Center (RTTSRC) was established in June 2004 at UAEU, with the objective to boost the university s role in serving the community developmental goals in the fields of road engineering, transportation and traffic safety. ECMR s strength revolves around its five Research Groups, which comprehends a wide spectrum of expertise in various areas relevant to Transportation. These are namely: Efficient Infrastructure, Green Mobility, Connected & Autonomous Mobility (CAM), Integrated Mobility, and Safe Mobility.
Our mission is to achieve a safe, efficient, environment friendly and integrated transportation eco-system by facilitating inter-disciplinary research, enabling inter-play
of technologies, boosting disruptive ideas, bridging inter-stakeholder relationships, and disseminating state-of-the-art knowledge.
