Objectives

1. Provide assessment, education, and counseling services for children with exceptionalities based on international best practices.
   
   
2. Offer guidance, counseling, and/or consultation services for the parents, school professionals, and community.
   
   
3. Develop highly skilled educational professionals from the UAEU graduates to meet the future labor market demands locally, regionally, and globally.
   
   
4. Foster the UAE's global leadership in special and gifted education by establishing strategic partnerships with leading specialized centers and universities in the field of special and gifted education.
   
   
5. Conduct and publish research studies in special and gifted education, effectively distilling and disseminating findings to policymakers, academic and professional organizations, and other researchers, ultimately benefiting Children with exceptionalities .
   
   
6. Support the educational system in enhancing capacity and preparing teachers to effectively work with children with exceptionalities.
