Institutional Excellence Section

The Institutional Excellence Section aims to achieve high standards of performance and excellence, which contributes to raising the level of the university and enhancing its position in the local and international academic arena, and to achieve excellence and leadership of the United Arab Emirates University.

The section seeks to motivate leadership thinking and strengthen the role of the university units in achieving superior performance in order to reach the vision of the UAE University and executing innovative initiatives in documenting and disseminating knowledge and best practices of the federal government worldwide.

Main objectives of the section:

• Lead UAEU’s organizational excellence agenda in collaboration with relevant divisions.
• Stay up-to-date with local and international excellence models and awards, and spread the knowledge across UAEU.
• Spread excellence culture across UAEU through a variety of tools including training sessions, communication workshops and meetings.
• Ensure UAEU’s readiness and alignment to excellence models, pillars and criteria.
• Conduct internal excellence assessment to ensure alignment of practices to excellence models and standards.
• Supervising the launching of the "Chancellor Institutional Excellence Award ".
• Participation of the university’s organizational units with the items of feedback reports received on self-evaluation and internal, local, and global excellence awards reports.
• Contributing to the management and qualification of excellence ambassadors to obtain certificates related to institutional excellence standards.
• Supervising the participation of the university in any programs or awards in which the university participates in the field of institutional excellence.
