Developing and managing a methodology for making and updating strategic and operational
plans, following up their implementation and evaluation, and measuring the impact
of their application in developing the institutional performance of the university.
Preparing and developing the strategic and operational plans of the university in
coordination with the concerned units of the university and the Cabinet Office while
ensuring the alignment of the university's strategic plans with the Federal Government
strategic plans and aspirations and the national agenda and evaluating the results
of their implementation.
Coordinate with all sectors and departments of the university to align the plans of
departments and colleges with the university's strategic and operational plan.
Coordinating with strategic partners and stakeholders to define roles and responsibilities
in the design, implementation and measurement of joint projects, initiatives, policies
and performance indicators.
Developing a framework for the corporate performance management system.
Following up the performance of the university in achieving indicators and issuing
periodic performance reports.
Developing and implementing an internal audit mechanism on the validity and reliability
of performance results and on the integrity and accuracy of evidence and methods of
calculating indicators
Proposing the necessary solutions for any obstacles to the implementation of operational
plans in coordination with the concerned units of the University.
Identifying and assessing the risks that may hinder the implementation of the strategic
and operational plan of the university and the appropriate mechanisms to deal with
it and follow up its application in coordination with the concerned units of the university.
Contributing to the annual planning of the university budget and linking it to the
initiatives and activities in the strategic plan.
Raising awareness of the importance of the strategic plan and managing the strategic
planning process of the university through the organization and implementation of
workshops and training programs to ensure the unification of concepts and terminologies
related to performance, systems and manuals.
