Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management and Development
The Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management and Development (BBA_HRMD) degree enables students to pursue a broad range of careers in business and government sectors in the broad area of Human Resources Management and Development. Driven by students’ need to compete in a global job market, the BBA_HRMD program is internationally accredited providing students with worldwide recognition of their prestigious academic degrees. The program is designed to help meet the growing and changing labor market needs of the UAE economy. The BBA in HRMD curriculum equips students with core business skills and knowledge in all business functions including finance, accounting, and economics. Additionally, specialized courses in the program prepare graduates with specialist knowledge and skills in various areas in the human resource management and development field, including strategies and tools to attract, train, engage, retain, and motivate employees in the workplace. Students obtain a solid foundation in management theories and analytical skills, complemented by practical exposure to real-world business practices through the internship program. The program prepares students not only for careers in government and industry but also for graduate studies.
The current BBA in HRMD program is a proactive response to the evolving needs of the UAE and regional markets. The program provides students with diverse opportunities to prepare for careers in today's dynamic and competitive business environment by offering comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge and skills in various aspects of people management within organizations. This includes the internship program, wherein all students complete a compulsory work-placement in an organization. This initiative has proven to be extremely beneficial to our graduates, equipping them with practical skills and professional insights.

- To prepare students to successfully advance their careers or pursue higher education in HRM and related fields by adapting to evolving business environments and labor market trends.
- To enable students to promote ethical, socially responsible, and sustainable HR practices that contribute to both organizational success and societal well-being.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Analyse the strategic role of human resource management in contemporary organizations.
- Apply the concepts and theories required for building effective interpersonal relationships and diagnosing interpersonal problems within an organizational setting.
- Analyse the interrelationships between strategies and systems for the management of people and other resources for the effective management of organizations.
- Apply theories and concepts required to design and implement performance and compensation management systems.
- Design and evaluate human resource policies and practices related to staffing, onboarding, training, and career development.
- Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, as required in a human resource management business context.
- Explain ethical reasoning in relation to human resource management and allied business contexts and develop an awareness of the civic responsibilities of a business.
- Develop autonomy and responsibility in undertaking their academic or professional work.
- Apply teamwork skills in managing their work as well as leading and directing others as appropriate to the context and level at which they are operating.
- Apply appropriate research tools and techniques to collect and analyze data and evaluate and interpret information to suggest solutions for human resource management problems and related business issues.
