Covid-19 volunteers training workshop

CMHS has joined forces with the Emirates Foundation by providing volunteers basic clinical skills that were deemed essential before deploying volunteers to COVID-19 healthcare facilities. These six basic clinical skills are: Patient assessment, Vital signs measurement, First Aid, Communication skills, Nasopharyngeal COVID-19 swab test, as well as Infection control and medical waste management.
The Medical Simulation Center provided this training opportunity as a hands-on workshop in collaboration with the stakeholders. The workshop conducted for 62 volunteers from all emirates , was designed to be engaging and interactive using advanced simulation and immersive learning experiences.
