Academic Performance

Dean's List

  • All Students with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPP) of 3.6 or higher will be included on Dean's List (updated per semester).

Probation

  • All students with a GPA below (2.00) who finished 21 credit hours or more will be placed on Academic probation.
  • A student on Academic probation must raise the student GPA above 2:00 on the following semester.
  • The first time the student's GPA becomes less than (2.00) after finishing at least 21 credit hours, the student will be placed on the First probation.
  • A Student on Academic probation whose GPA at any semester following the first Academic probation becomes less than (2.00) will be placed on Second Academic Probation.
  • A Student on Second Academic probation whose GPA at any semester following the second Academic probation becomes less than (2.00) will be placed on Third Academic Probation. A student on the third probation will be Academically Dismissed from the University.
  • A student under probation will receive a probation form to state if he/she stays at the college or transfers to another college.
