Ms. Reem Albreik (in the middle), a food researcher from Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority visited the veterinary public health research lab for hands-on training between July and September 2024. Her training was supervised by members of ARIFSID’s working group on antimicrobial residues. |

ARIFSID research was prenoted by Dr Ihab Habib from the working group on antimicrobial residues at the 28th International ICFMH Conference FOOD MICRO 2024 in form of an oral presentation on genomic insights into antimicrobial resistant Salmonella in internationally traded chicken meat imported to the UAE. |
